Commenty

Commenty is a Chrome extension that helps LinkedIn users write comments in their own voice. You start with your own words or choose a tone, and Commenty continues the comment inside LinkedIn; you review and post every one. It also learns from the comments you post, with permission, and provides a weekly brief of up to five conversations worth continuing. It is for writers, consultants, founders, and anyone whose reputation depends on sounding like themselves.

How it works

Commenty is a Chrome extension that works inside LinkedIn. You can write the whole comment yourself, start with a few words and let Commenty finish it, or ask for a complete draft. It also drafts context-aware replies inside comment threads and reactions for reposts. You can add a specific angle or instruction for a single comment without changing your saved preferences.

Voice learning

With your permission, Commenty learns from the comments you actually post, especially those written entirely in your own words. It turns patterns in your vocabulary, rhythm, and phrasing into a living voice profile that guides every new continuation. During your first week, you can import comments you wrote before installing Commenty to give your profile real examples from day one.

Relationships and weekly brief

Commenty observes replies, mentions, likes, comments, headlines, and post topics around people you already know. The Relationships page shows recent activity and interaction history. Every Sunday, a fixed brief highlights up to five conversations that may be worth continuing, with a plain-language reason for each. You can mark each item Done or Dismissed.

Privacy and account safety

Commenty never asks for your LinkedIn password or session cookies, never logs in on your behalf, and does not operate a server-side LinkedIn session. It only reads what is visible on supported LinkedIn pages while the extension is running. It never automatically comments, sends DMs, follows people, or sends connection requests. Every comment is a suggestion that goes live only when you choose to post it.
